| Chapramari The area of this sanctuary is 9.60 sq. km. and 70 km. away from Jalpaiguri town. One can get a close view of wildlife, in a glade from the beautiful resthouse inside the sanctuary. Permission for day visit may be received from the Lataguri interpretation centre. Hired vehicle to reach Chapramari is available from Chalsa. It provides a breathtaking view of forests against the backdrop of the Kanchanjangha and other peaks. |

Jaldapara
This sanctuary is famous for Great Indian One Horned Rhino. The total area of this forest is 216.51 sq. km. Jaldapara is situated near Alipurduar sub-divisional town of Jalpaiguri district . Elephant riding is one of the major attraction of this sanctuary. Major Flora : Tarai grass land, Riverine forest, Sal forests, Simul, Khair, Sisoo, Sidha, Gamar, Mallotus,Kawla,Dilenia, Ficus. Major Fauna : Great indian one horned rhino, Tiger, Gaur, Elephant, Badger, Leopard, Sloth Bear Otter, Bengal florican , King cobra. |
