Municipal Affairs Section
The Municipal Affairs Section monitors and assists the activities of the three municipalities of Jalpaiguri District , viz. Jalpaiguri Municipality , Mal Municipality , Dhupguri Municipality . Different schemes of the Urban Development and Municipal Affiars Department like NFBS , Mission Nirmal Bangla , Housing schemes , Green City Mission projects are monitored by this section on behalf of the UD&MA dept. Facilitation of preparation of Solid & Liquid Waste Management Plans for the municipalities is also provided by this Section. Any Complaints or allegations regarding the municipalities is also dealt by this section.
